I bought this for my son who is going through a very difficult time in his life. He is a large man, and since there is no clasp to open and close, he had great difficulty putting the chain over his head. It is also impossible to remove the pendant to put it on another chain without breaking the existing chain. It is beautiful, and I specifically bought this one because the chain looked heavy dut
