Nice medal, questionable chain

Comments about Joy Jewelers Sterling Silver 3/4in St Maximilian Kolbe Medal & 18in Chain:
I'm not sure of the legal definition of sterling silver, but the chain that came with this medal must surely contain some nickel. At present I have a "necklace" of uncomfortable welts. I like the medal, though, and have sent away for a nickel-free chain. A word to the wise if you have such a sensitivity. Would recommend with that caveat.
Nice medal for the price

The product was for a confirmation gift. The medal was very nice, good quality, but I was a bit dissapointed in the thickness of the chain.
