I bought this earring and another one for my daughter. It's super cute and she loved wearing them. However, the backs of the earring are plastic balls and they are awful. They ended up squeezing into the back of my daughter's earlobe and gave her a lot of pain. A proper, gold back piece would've been much better - had it been provided- with an indentation in the needle of the earting to stop it from pushing back into the earlobe. This is a child's earring and more care should be given to the overall quality. I would recommend the earring, but the bck needs to be changed.
