I bought this item for myself and one for my mother. It is gorgeous! The craftsmanship is perfect! It is a bit on the heavier side, in weight, so I needed a 16" chain, which I purchased on Amazon for $11. The medal is so beautiful - I am thrilled with my purchase!! I do wish the company offered a shorter length chain, though. Joy Jewelers had wonderful customer service, as I called to place the order over the phone bc I had questions.
